RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Most Modern Shock products are made after an order is placed. This does not limit any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Change of Mind, Fit, and Size
Except where applicable law gives you a cancellation or return right, we do not accept returns, issue refunds, or offer size exchanges because of change of mind, personal preference, fit, or an incorrectly selected size.
Please review the measurements and size information on the product page before ordering. You are welcome to contact us for help choosing a size.
Mandatory Online-Purchase Cancellation Rights
If applicable law gives you the right to withdraw from an online purchase, including for eligible consumer purchases in the EU, EEA, and United Kingdom, you may notify us within 14 days after delivery without giving a reason. You must then return the item within 14 days after notifying us.
You are responsible for the direct cost of a change-of-mind return unless applicable law requires otherwise. We will refund the returned item and any standard outbound delivery cost that applicable law requires us to refund. Any extra cost for an upgraded delivery method is not refundable unless required by law. We may wait until we receive the item or evidence that it has been sent back before issuing the refund where the law permits.
Personalized or Genuinely Bespoke Items
Where permitted by applicable law, items genuinely made to your individual specifications or clearly personalized cannot be returned because of change of mind or fit. This includes items made with customer-supplied names, text, artwork, individual measurements, or a requested alteration outside our standard range.
Choosing an existing Modern Shock design, standard size, standard colour, or another standard option does not by itself make an item personalized or bespoke. This exception does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or materially different from its description.
Condition of Returned Items
You may inspect or try on an eligible item only as you reasonably would in a shop. Please return it safely with its tags and accessories, and with the original packaging where reasonably possible. If an item has been worn, used, washed, damaged, or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value where applicable law permits.
Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect, or Misdescribed Items
If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, is not what you ordered, or is materially different from its description, email support@modernshock.com with your order number and a description of the problem. Photographs may help us assess the issue, but they do not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the remedy may be a repair, replacement, refund, price reduction, or another legally required solution. Modern Shock will cover reasonable return and replacement-delivery costs where required by law. Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage after delivery, or failure to follow care instructions is not treated as a product defect.
Order Changes and Pre-Dispatch Cancellations
Contact us within 24 hours after ordering if you need to request a change or cancellation. We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or stopped after production begins. This does not limit any mandatory cancellation right that applies to your purchase.
How to Start a Return or Report a Problem
Email support@modernshock.com with your order number and the item you wish to return. A reason is optional when a mandatory no-fault cancellation right applies. We will provide the correct return instructions and return address. Please do not send an item to a supplier or address shown on the parcel unless we confirm that address in writing.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Customer support is monitored Monday to Friday during office hours. Weekend replies may occasionally be available, but are not guaranteed.
